I bought their newest CD "Earthsongs" the other week and I've had it in my player since then. It's a beautiful mix of celtic sounds with some new-age & classical sounds included. Plus, the violinist Fionnuala Sherry is a wonderful violin player. I also heard "Sounds from a Secret Garden," their old album, at Universal and really liked it, too. This is Secret Garden's Homepage if anyone is interested. Happy St. Patty's Day to all Irish music fans! :) Tabatha |

From: Charmion "Sounds from a Secret Garden" is one of the albums I keep at the office to defend me from the nattering and chattering of others -- played on a Discman of course. It's refreshingly well-conceived aural wallpaper in the same class as the Holberg Suite by Edvard Grieg (that's high praise, by the way) and the double CD "Opium" by Ottmar Liebert + Luna Negra. This is not music for sitting down and listening to deliberately, but it really works as background to conversation, work or relaxing with a book. |

From: GUEST,Tabatha Grieg has some wonderful compositions -- I watch a performance of his "Wedding Day at Troldhaugen" at a piano recital a few years ago and was amazed. Secret Garden is definitely music to relax with, I listen to it a lot at work, too. |
