From: ianthewalrus Hello All, I've recently moved to Surrey (near Aldershot, as it happens) and am looking to get playing again. I did some Irish stuff on the south coast, which was fun, and in an ideal world would be playing English folk tunes or alt-country (Willard Grant Conspiracy, Handsome Family, that sort of stuff). I also do the whole laptop studio thing, so can take a shot at production duties, mixing and mastering, remixing and so on. Own gear and transport, as they used to say in the NME. So, anyone need their low frequencies sorting out? You can get me on iangreening@yahoo.co.uk. Enjoy, Ian |

From: ianthewalrus Fair point Mr Fingers - it's bass guitar (I play a 5-string electric and a 5-stringed acoustic bass guitar). Then again, with a little bit of outboard the bass guitar can sound like an upright, and it's certainly easier to shift...Doesn't help in the acoustic clubs though. Regards, Ian |
