Origins: 'The Yogi Bear Song' ... HOW OLD IS IT?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for the EARLIEST date for The Yogi Bear Song  (recording)...either clean or dirty.

So far it seems that the dirty version of this song dates to early 1990's.  Does anyone remember learning the dirty version earlier than this?

As for the clean version of "The Yogi Bear Song", there are versions online in several scouting PDFs.  Does anyone know of pre-1990 printed versions?

When did you learn your version of the song?

Any help with putting an earlier date on this song is appreciated.

Sincerely,

John Mehlberg

The other song of the same title (I know a bear) seems to have originated in the UK. One of those rugger (sp?) songs. Undated in most sites.

Yogi has more goodies than a millionaire
That's because he's smarter than the average bear.

I first learned the dirty version in the mid 80s. I got the impression it'd been around awhile.
