I probably won't. But then again, I may. It's on a Thursday and I don't have anything scheduled for that weekend. Plenty of time to recover if it doesn't work.

Excuse me, but what is the significance of May 19th?

Besides various birthdays, I mean..

And Happy Birthday to those whose birthdays come on or around that day, such as my daughter who will be 32 years old on May 10th!
****

As an aside, I'm a twin. I have this personal belief that good luck {blessings] come my way every time I see twins.

So maybe in this virtual reality, reading about twins also brings good luck..and in this thread two sets of twins have been mentioned. Wonderful!!

Enjoy their growing up years. It will seem that they grow up so fast!

Okay, Azizi, it has no signifigance. It's merely another of Skipy's copycat threads. There was a thread entitled "Will you march on March 19th?" Skipy is finding low humor of the fact that the words "march" and "may" are verbs as well as the names of months. Sometimes we wonder about the boy, but he means no harm.

Thanks, Bee-dubya-ell.

I thought it might be a humorous take on that other thread. But then started doubting myself and thought that maybe May 19th was really some kinda holiday like May Day that was celebrated over yonder in the UK or somewhere else..like Oz -Hey I'm congratulating myself for finally figured out that 'Oz' means 'Australia. That took me a while too. When I saw the referent Oz in Mudcat threads I thought people were talking about that movie with the wizard behind the curtain and Dorothy and Toto and the rest of the gang}

So back to this May 19th date, I almost concluded that Skipy was asking about whether people were going to celebrate May Day by skipping around Maypoles and whatever else people do for Mayday.
{get it 'skipping' and 'Skipy'?}.

But then I said to myself "May Day is the first of May, right?" I still don't know the answer to that question..Nobody around here celebrates Mayday..actually the word 'mayday' means some disaster or something, doesn't it?

So I had to break down and ask what this date meant since it was bugging me that couldn't figure it out.

I gotta learn not to be sooo serious.

;O)

At least Skipy's 'Humour' is NOT inflammatory or insulting which means it is at least worth looking at , and he is at also seriously involved in 'the music' !

...........and the BEER.

I understand that Skipy celebrates every day of the month with the letter Y in it. Strange but true.

I like that thought, Azizi. So just to enhance the odds of your having a good day: Their birthday is not in May (February) but my daughter's boy/girl twins are now 15.

Thanks, Ebbie!

I appreciate it.

I have met a number of twins in my life.. And sometimes when I really need perking up, I have 'happened' to see a set of twins in a store or on the street..When I see these twins, given the symbology that I have invented for myself, I am required to feel better..{Hey, whatever works!!}

Perhaps it's wish furfillment, and/or seeing things that you are alert to {on the look out for}, but I'll take what ever I can get.

By the way, every generation for the last 4 generations in my family has had one set of twins. I also have twin grandsons [who cares if they aren't blood relations-they are the brothers of the son of my foster son so they're kin as far as I'm concerned].

Of course they're kin, Z-Z; blood is thicker than water, but love is thicker than blood.

I have a brother and sister who are twins.

They live in different countries; they communicate telepathetically.

Saves them a bloody fortune on telephone calls
