New Music Camp in VT

There's a new instrumental music camp starting up in Vermont. The first session is in mid June. See details at www.northeastheritagemusiccamp.com
Looked like some great faculty, not a bad price for the entire week ($650 including room and board and some great faculty) They are needing sign ups by March 31 in order to make this one fly, so if you are interested, act soon.   Looks like great Cape Breton, Apalachian, New England and Quebec staff in fiddle, guitar, percussion and keyboards (including accordian.) Maybe the blue clicky fairy will come along and make this even easier.

Susan, in a rush to get on with travel arrangements for Father in Law's heart surgery.

Wish I had the time to go. Sounds great. My brother went to a similar thing in Ontario except it was a fiddling camp.

I like the fact that it's a mix, makes for more interesting jam sessions, and I'm pretty sure there'll be a healthy amount of dancing too. If anyone wants to touch down in Montpelier before or after, send me a pm.

Thanks for the clicky Jacob.

June 12 through 18, probably part of the problem filling the camp comes from the fact that most schools around these parts are still in session, and at least 5 of my fiddle/piano/mando playing friends are teachers.

Not a reliably warm time in VT, but it's pretty nice. Lots of green and Johnson's a rather nice part of the state.

It definately looks interesting, but I can't take time off as "MOM" til school lets out and that's a couple weeks later.

Seems to be the trouble with this one. I'm sort of keeping my fingers crossed, but if they moved it, a lot more of my friends could come.
