Only thing I remember is that the words belfast mill comes in my
head .
Oh man......... I must have been very drunk, or there was a women who draw my attetion away ??? can´t remember.

If some one have the lyric(chords) or midi it would be good .

Subject: Lyr Add: ARAGON MILL (Si Kahn)

Yet another song hijacked by the Celts!

Here's the original:

ARAGON MILL
(Si Kahn)
As recorded by Si Kahn on "New Wood" (1974)

At the east end of town at the foot of the hill
There's a chimney so tall that says: "Aragon Mill;"

But there's no smoke at all comin' out of the stack
'Cause the mill has pulled out and it ain't comin' back.

Now I'm too old to change and I'm too young to die,
And there's no place to go for my old man and I.

There's no children at all in the narrow, empty streets.
Now the looms have all gone; it's so quiet I can't sleep.

And the only tune I hear is the sound of the wind
As it blows through the town: "Weave and spin; weave and spin."

Now the mill has shut down; it's the only life I know.
Tell me, where will I go? Tell me, where will I go?

And the only tune I hear is the sound of the wind
As it blows through the town: "Weave and spin; weave and spin."

Plus under Aragon Mill, you'll see plenty of threads about either.

Interesting how the name change destroys the theme of the song. In many a US mill town, the mill was the only employment opportunity for the townspeople. Closing the mill meant that the entire workforce of the down became unemployed. I don't think that happened with Belfast.

Seamus Kennedy has a nice recorded version on one of his CD's.
