A good energetic and humourous Doctor.

Very good indeed. Clever the way it brought it up to date with internet nerds talking about the Doctor, don't you think?

Yes indeed a Doctor Who, I could watch. Not a fan usually, but I liked that.

Somebody said the Daleks were being replaced by the Stannahs, very similar in most ways, but the latter can manage to climb stairs.

*sigh*

I think I'm in love!

I'm trying to find a 300x300 picture of the delightful Mr Eccleston for adding to signatures on a number of forums.

I will be most upset if people who have promised to record the series for me fail to!

I'm trying to keep the drool off the keyboard.

Yup, sexiest Doctor ever. I love a man with a sonic screwdriver.

I was VERY impressed! Bearing in mind I was only 5 when the series was axed (1989), but have seen loads of my dad's videos of previous Doctors, I was a bit wary.

Bit surprised they couldn't find a new way to get the Autons (Living Plastic People) to attack, but I loved the bit with the wheelie bin!

Billie Piper was good too. Let's hope the rest of the series lives up to the promise of the first episode.

Well the first Doctor Who I ever saw was a video of Rememberance of the Daleks (Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred) and everyone says he's the worst doctor. But it meant I love the Daleks!
They can climb stairs in the Sylvestor McCoy one though.
Ahh I just love the way the Daleks are so calm and... I dunno - no emotion. No violent passionate 'kill! kill! destroy!' rubbish - just plain and simple 'we will exterminate you. exterminate exterminate'
Brilliant!

(Course - they are also very funny when they get angry - all that spinning round and round. ha. classic)

I thought this was a thread about Bernie Ecclestone of F1 fame who's just had the wheels nicked off his Merc'.

Sadly cannot get the BBC out here.

F1 notoriety Frank, I would prefer it if they nicked his Merc. with him in it!

not bad at all-and the doctor is very easy on the eye- bit too short could have done with another qurter of an hour.

We've been away for the weekend and not seen a TV since Thursday night until about 5 hours ago..... and we didn't set the video (we didn't do a lot of things we should have on Thursday.... we damn nearly left the child behind!), anyone know if they're repeating it at all or if I can catch it on BBC3?

Damn well going to watch it next Sat!!!

Liz - we taped it as we were at Miskin for Easter. If you can't find it by other means I can send you the tape.
Quack!
