I'm still working on playlists for Utah Phillips' Loafer's Glory program, and I have started to go back and research things I didn't get first time through. On Phillips' third program, on busking, he played a song called "Street Singer's Heaven" and credited it to "Pop Wagner and Bobby Bovee". I haven't been able to find any trace of either the singers or the song on the net. Anyone know the story on this? Do I have the names right? (I know I could ask Phillips, but he doesn't do email, and besides I hate to bother him.) |

Yes, Bob is author or co-author of the song. I know they have recorded it too, but don't have it right to hand to tell you the title. |

It's always good to know all the good things that are going on out there. I've collected several CDs that I first ran across doing this project, and they've all been excellent. |
