05 Apr 05 - 12:22 PM (#1452706) Subject: RE: Martin Carthy on in Beverley From: Les from Hull Turn up, but turn up in good time. If too many people turn up, some could be turned away, which is a bit of a turn off. So that's turn up, not turnip, there's no door prizes for root vegetables. |

05 Apr 05 - 03:42 PM (#1452918) Subject: RE: Martin Carthy on in Beverley From: oombanjo Cheers for the running of Les. Yes there is a lot of interest in this, in fact there has been discussion by some of us regulars about not going, in order to make room for you irregulars, but you're out of luck We'll be there for lunch and be well and truly'd by the time you all get there. On a serious note the new venue is not as big as the old one so space will be at a premium and we may take some of the tables out to make more standing room. Where else can you see M.C. for 5.5. |
