I have already promised that the winners of the young folk festival award will be one of the support acts for Vin Garbutt on Friday the 3rd June 2005 at The Festival Hall in Market Rasen. Our Jolly Brewer gig will be our first full lenghther (2 45 minutes spots), so any advice from more experienced hands on how to sustain a) audience interest and b) our own stamina would be greatly welcome! D PS Will probably in the Victoria for a bit of the afternoon session 30/4 to just to get warmed up. |

See their website (referred to upthread) for details. For fans of the Barrow sessions, there will be a session at the Victoria in Lincoln (opposite the Lawns, by the Castle)on Saturday from 3pm - the music will be what we make it and there is already a whistle and uillean pipes scheduled in - so please bring some strings etc!! It would be great to see friends from up north down in Lincoln for a change! Anybody who fancies making a day of it can also see Gone to the Dogs' first gig at the Jolly Brewer from around 8.30!
