I am becoming concerned about the amount of agression creeping in to the folk world (it has been present in many other worlds for a long time) Folk has alwyas been very laid back and relaxed. It is sad to see it going the same way as the rest of the world and we loose our little happy enclave. It has been very edident in a few Sidmouth threads recently, passionate views do not excuse bad behaviour! Recently I have been party to a dance group who are writing codes of conduct for behaviour (Adults!) AND The running club to which I belong had a fight (real fisticuffs) whilst we played a waltz a gig for them the other week! I have been a member for over 15 years off and on and never seen anything like it before! Andy thoughts anyone? BTW the banjo was saved undamaged, the young bad guy got damaged by the old fat good guy and to complete the trilogy we do not play waltzes any more!!!! Andy |
