I find it to be very thorough and links to some other sites. Let me know how you make out. P.S. is that London, England? Steve |

14 Dec 98 - 10:49 AM (#49414) Subject: RE: My old friend the blues, lyrics please From: Steve L Sue in London, I was born in London, Ontario, Canada which is why I was asking. Was in London, England a couple of times. One of my moist poignant musical memories was walking along the tunnel to the Tube and hearing a busker playing Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" on sax. This tunnel was very long and I was the only other person in it. The sound just filled the space and got louder and louder as I got closer. That will stay with me always. Did you have any luck on that site I gave you? |

I can't believe I ever doubted you, My old friend the blues. Another lonely night, a nameless town, If sleep don't take me first, you'll come around. I know I can always count on you, My old friend the blues. Lovers leave and friends will let you down, But you're the only sure thing that I've found. No matter what I do, I'll never lose My old friend the blues. Lovers leave and friends will let you down, But you're the only sure thing that I've found. No matter what I do I'll never lose My old friend the blues. Just let me hide my weary heart in you, My old friend the blues. |
