Hi. How do we go about it? Do we mic it? Do we use some sort of pick-up?
Thanks for all input.   pbb

ask john mccutcheon. from his web site:
at www.folkmusic.com it says this:
"You can reach John in several ways.
The easiest is to send an e-mail to the Webmaster at lawyer@brettweiss.com. It will be forwarded to John right away."

he has invented some pedals so , like a iano, the tone can be changed.

he is an excellant and inventive Hammered dulcimer player
and teacher. i think he has a book, tape and/or c.d.
of H.D. lessons

All the players I know use a mic if they need to amplify it. Of course the age of some of the instruments may be a factor.

.. 1 or 2 or 3 oscar schmidt long bar magnet autoharp pickups
wired in line is how i'd consider doing it..

with maybe a couple of contact piezo pickups..

all fed into a mixer [and noise reduction/anti feedback]
to blend on stage sound if i wanted to get really technical..
