My Mum said - Itchy palms mean money, Itchy feet mean journeys, Itchy ears someones talking about you.
What itched round your way?

Judging by the tendinitis I have in my left hand, itchiness there indicates inflammation.

Did I ever mention that I had crabs a few decades ago?

Loose, well ventilated boxers are the only answer.

Hemorrhoids? Fortunately not since pregnancy. Speaking of hemorrhoids, spent time yesterday clearing some tall nettles from a pathway and managed to mash a bunch of it into the side of my face. The sensation was a bit beyond itching though. Itching is just low grade pain, this was stepped up a notch.

nettles often grow near jewel weed,
the sap from which eases the scratch
from the other.

I was always told that if the right palm itched you would receive money but if it was the left palm you would lose it.

Right to receive
Left to relieve

Itchy palms - yes it was right for receiving and left for leaving.

Itchy nose meant you were going to have an argument. However if you 'rubbed it up' you got a surprise. Only thing that surprised me was that it stopped itching!

Talking of surprises - Itchy bum, surprise to come:-)

And I never had crabs - I had lobsters. I know the diference. Crabs walk sideways...

Cheers

itchy head - promotion
itchy left foot - journey resulting in a loss
itchy right foot - journey resulting in a gain
itchy "area" - reconciliation

Orville visits the city, and goes in a bar for a beer; a little painted thing sits down next to him and says, "You look like a strong, capable man; maybe you could help me with a problem; I have an itchy p***y." "Sorry ma'am", says Orville; "I don't know nuthin' bout them Japanese cars".

And was it Gordon Lightfoot that wrote the line

"To the big lake they call itchy goolies..."
