16 May 05 - 06:29 AM (#1485916) Subject: RE: Wheaton Aston; anyone going? From: the lemonade lady Home again. Aa very good weekend. The weather was just what i needed. The folk club on the Saturday night was a hoot! I've sung in some odd places before but never in a chinese takeaway! I felt so sorry for Gwyneth and Pete who were hosting it. I think it went well tho. G & P are running the folk club at Bishop's Castle Folk Weekend too by the way. Really nice to meet Keiran Halpen at last. Great set. A man who can write few words that say so much. Well done Hilary and Julian. Thanks to the Schantieman for his help. And thanks to Mandotim and Webfolk for wonderful catering. That plum chutney is to die for! Oat cakes? Yum... Ta Geoff. Sal |
