Lyr Req: (& music if poss) good noisy room songs

I managed to convince Emma Heath that the mens showers was the place to be Sunday night at Moor & Coast Festival. She had a good time and she did a song that really suited her voice and was able to carry over the babble that was occuring in the room too.
It was upbeat and people were able to join in easily.
I have no songs like that, but I would like some!

Picture the scenario, busy room, full of people, semi loud, lots of fiddlers, bodrhanists (is there such a word??), other guitarists; you can't do something quiet and sweet as everyone is full of "the festival is now over" late night chat (I'm not having a go here, I'm trying to build the scene!) you want to do a song that, won't necessarily stop people talking, but will be heard by those who are interested.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance

" bodrhanists"

Bodrhaneers?? (A stan Rogers song parody in there maybe?)

Rhanners

Thugs

As for song suggestions, it's not the song that matters so much as the 'attitude' you put into it... I've heard people 'pussifie' even rocking great songs like Drunken Sailor or Marry Ellen Carter... and I've heard people sing Wild Mt Thyme, or Fields Of Athen Rye like they were 'feelin' their ancestors stones!

Look to the sea-shanties for starters... and sing 'em like ya GOT a pair!

(well...here's a medicore version of someome singing it. I don't think he has either the correct tune OR the right spirit, but it might help. (Imagine it done with gusto and harmony)
