During the chase seen in Rob Roy wile the partys going on, a lady is singing a beutiful galic song. I have no Idea what the words are other than it must be a love song. I'd like to know at least what the name of the song is, and a translation might be nice.

thanks in advance.

It's either Ailein Duinn or Theid mi Dhachaigh(I'll go home). Both are sung by Karen Matheson of Capercaillie. Sorry I don't have the lyrics to either song to add to this message, but the album insert is heavy on the photo side of things. Hope this is helpful.

It's Ailein Dunn. Check out the Capercaillie homepage at http://www.co.uk/capercailie It's not in the gaelic song archive but the keeper of that site is supposedly working on adding a lot of new submissions so you might want to check it periodically: http://www.webcom.com/liam/gaelsong
