All in a good cause. Went to Festival last year and enjoyed immensely.

It will be a Contra Ceilidh this time. Try something a little different (and quite fashionable just now, I gather). It will be an excellent evening for dancers, and interesting for those of us who prefer the beer.

Some of us like the beer and the dancing , its just combining them seems to get a wee bit more difficult as I get older.   Are we talking a ceilidh without stripping the willow? Deprived of my specialist dancing. Oh well will just have to learn something new!

There may be some willow-stripping involved too - it'll be part contra dances and part ceilidh dances so I expect some of the familiar ceilidh dances will be in there as well.

I'll attempt a blue clicky thing: Sheffield Folk Festival website

Should be fun - I'm looking forward to it, anyway!
