They encourage people to send in the phones to make money for worthy causes. Have any of you ever done this? Did it seem worthwhile? What were your experiences? Thanks |

The proceeds are donated to the Bristol Childrens' Hospital (Wallace & Gromit Appeal). Helps a worthy cause, saves natural resources and reduces landfill. We also recycle aluminium cans, PET bottles, plastic cups and paper. It's amazing how much 500 people can get through in a week. |

I have heard of recycling PC's to some poorer countries where they are actually used by tyhe local peopl but not cell phones. |
