25 May 05 - 07:53 PM (#1493290) Subject: RE: ANN: John Tams & Barry Coope,Guildford From: GUEST So Mr Breezy. You seem to judge music in terms of "Songs per Minute" Eh? Quite how you cope with symphonies, (or worse) I can't imagine. "Ooooh...don't know how that Wagner gets any gigs...that ring cycle of his went on for hours, and not one chorus." As for that Stockhausen bloke....... |

25 May 05 - 09:24 PM (#1493341) Subject: RE: ANN: John Tams & Barry Coope,Guildford From: GUEST,Irene Shettle Hmm.... I wonder if that's the first time that Mr Tams has been linked with Wagner or Stockhausen. Re Breezy's comments, yes I believe that on the last occasion that the pair appeared in Guildford there was chat with the songs, but then some people (including me) actually like that sort of thing. Each to his own. Those friends of mine that went last time thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and will be going again! |

25 May 05 - 10:00 PM (#1493350) Subject: RE: ANN: John Tams & Barry Coope,Guildford From: Dave (the ancient mariner) It is just John Tams style to chat in between songs, and he can be a bit long winded and political at times *BG* He is still a great musician and really sings his heart out, Great guy. |
