29 Jun 05 - 09:22 AM (#1512430) Subject: RE: Weelittledrummer in Hull From: GUEST,jOhn Apologies Mick [Osoonflags], I should not have posted that. Al- I had also contacted local BBC station [BBC Humberside], gig was plugged on Radio Humberside. I also contacted local paper [Hull Mail], but they are nortoriusly crap at plugging gigs. Though as Ossonflags has said , people have other commitments [work , family, etc] . Also on that night there were a few oyher folky type things on. I have had feedback from everyone waht was there [Bassic,Ted, sk6, harri wahtts etc], all aying that they really enjoyed it. El Ted had to leave early, as he had netball practice. As you know, I,ve had a few problems recently, [job, house, money etc], but I,m doing ok now, managed to avoid eviction up to now! |

29 Jun 05 - 12:35 PM (#1512541) Subject: RE: Weelittledrummer in Hull From: GUEST,jOhn Thanks Al. I managed to get the eviction order postponed after borrowing the rent money off a cuple of good friends [El Ted and Skipjack 8], local mudcatter [and all round good bloke] Bassic offered me floorspace for a few days till i got sorted if i get evicted, [hopefully it won,t come to that]! and a few friends including Les from Hull, Ossonflags etc helped me write for jobs, fill forms in etc. Housing Benefit are a bunch of useless basterds, if they were a business, they would go bust in weeks! I admit, at one point i got really depressed, now i think "wahtever happens, happens" there is plenty of emty council flats in hull, and El Ted has got a van, and would probly help me move is i had to, all my stuff would fit in a van, and Bassics freind works for council house place, so could maybe help me apply for council flat, fill forms in etc. so don;t worry about me! wahtever happens, happens, i;,ll be ok. anyway= i only owe my landlord 1 month rent, if he kicks me out, i will get a big hammer and smash the whole place to peices. |

Don't bang up the present flat. There are far better ways to get revenge - ways involving Barry Manilow or the Spice Girls, for instance. |
