BS: DC sky today

Today marked the most intensive atmospheric spraying event I have witnessed in 9 years. Also the largest US military transport plane lumbered across the sky today following our second largest military aircraft headed east. Perhaps there is an air show coming up. Perhaps not.

I don't get the 'spraying event'. And two aircraft? A C5 and... I'm not sure what the 2nd largest is?

Thankfully our military is protecting our great country.

Fresh what Robo? Fresh paranoia?

Immediately preceding the Iraq war and lasting 6 months afterwards the Galaxy C5A's would fly overhead in groups of 4 or more.

The 10 year spraying program is the brain child of Dr. Edward Teller to lower heat absorbtion and lower temperatures by as much as 10 degrees by reflecting sunlight away from the ground.

You have certainly seen them but you may not be familiar with their special smoke screen characteristics compared to normal vapor trails.

At first they appear to be prominant vapor trails at altitudes of 15 to 35 thousand feet but then start to have feelers come off one side like a short tooth comb. Withing 10 minutes they have grown 200 times their original width and within 20-40 minutes can be a 1 - 5 miles wide cloud.

Their composition is mostly micronized metals. The pedestrian term for this project is chem trails but that is a misnomer. To avoid a public outcry should anyone ever see the cost benefit analysis regarding public health risks to select individuals this project is still classified a national security secret.

What is funny is that it is probably the most obvious "secret" of the century. Claims that the billowing trails are due to a change in aviation fuel is laughable.

Video I have taken of the reflective "smoke" screens is e pluribus unum but what I have is fairly unique in that I have pictures of the spray being both turned on and off.

There is some irony regarding people not in the know invoking the tin foil hat ruse, since a large component of the spray is aluminum.

2nd largest?... What is the relative size of the "Starlifter"?

Yeah, all the electrons have leaked out of your thinking cap. Time to unroll a fresh sheet of the good Reynolds stuff.

Shall we be rational here?

To do something, a person or organisation needs the ability to do so, the chance to, and the motive to.

We can assume that the USAF has the ability to convert a cargo aircraft into a 'vapor trail' laying aircraft.

We know, by waving the stick called national security, they can do almost anything they like.

We can assume that the USAF is reasonably sane, so they are not laying special clouds to stop Elvis landing. So why are they doing it?

1. The USAF is taking global warming seriously, and is trying to prevent it.
Odd, I though the Goverment was under the control of Exxon, so Global warming doesn't exist.

2. The Pentagon has no air conditioning, so this is to lower the temprature, and make up for this.
It's currently 61 F. Clearly far too hot.

3.Any other offers...

4. It really is just a new fuel mix.
