Hi guys-looking for a simple midi or other file of this, kind of a swingy little melody...I think....lyrics wouldn't hurt either.

The song you want is Pokarekare ana.

Can't find the tune - or any reference to it; but the word means to "stretch out the legs, or Stride.

You're right! It's Pokarekare, my bad. Thanks for the link, that's perfect.

Robyn, I doubt that there are many songs on which such detailed information is available on the web. Very interesting.

What I want to know is how robyn knew sarah wanted that song and not what she asked for? Telepathy? Omniprescience?

I'm an open book, what can I say? Must be all the Yoruba chanting I've been doing recently. ;)

Easy, there is no Maori song called Hokari!
Unless she was looking for Hoki Hoki but that's another song.
Thanks Q.
John Archer is very industrious and puts a lot of effort into finding information on NZ songs. He has a very useful site.
