From: Liz the Squeak The Mudcat 'Just Desserts' cookbook is almost ready - it's up to 60+ recipes and on its final edit. It has 6 chapters, conversion charts, glossary, illustrations and hints. It will probably be available in 3 formats if I can get it to work.... CD Rom Paper book form WinZip file. I could Email it but it's got illustrations and is a huge file. Please indicate here if you would like a copy and PM me mailing details. Thank you to everyone who contributed... sorry if I didn't include your contribution but we had a little computer problem last year and I lost a whole heap of files. There is no charge for these books, I only ask that you donate at least $10.00 or £7.50 (or the local equivalent) for each copy to Mudcat. LTS |

If it's cheaper for you to send five or six to me and then have ME package them up and send them on individually, I can do that. I think sending you postage costs via Paypal is a great idea. I already have a great regional dessert for Volume Two! I got a recipe for this weird Rhode Island delicacy called Rice Pudding Cake. It's a little bit like the Italian Easter Pie recipe I gave you but enough different and enough of i's own thing to warrant its one page in a future edition. |

I posted it on Mudcat a couple of years ago, but I don't know if there was a thread on which I should have submitted it for the cookbook (I've been sporadic in my Mudcat-reading of late). It's made of crumbly cake and chocolate Tootsie-Roll "turds", preferably served in a rectangular cake pan with a brand new, never-used-for-the-real-thing metal litter-scooper. If I missed the submission discussion, ah well, I can always submit the recipe for Volume Two, as Dave's Wife says. Sharon |

Somehow there is no provision on the programme for 'closing' the disc, so it will only play on this computer.....
