Ethno England is an international youth folk music residential camp where young musicians, singers and dancers from across the world gather together in Riccall, North Yorkshire to share their music and cultural traditions with each other through a series of workshops and informal sessions. At last year's camp we had participants from Belgium, England, Germany, Scotland, Serbia & Montenegro, Sweden and Zimbabwe.

Our Artistic Leaders this year are:

Just spent the afternoon at Ethno in the Park. It was fantastic to hear the different styles of music from different countries. Really enjoyed the event. Well done everyone who took part. If only.........

A great afternoon, I agree. Beautiful weather and soft shade from the trees. Music, song and dance of many sorts. Looking forward to the next one.

I'm sorry I could only help one night/morning but I want to thank you for the opportunity! It is great to see/hear the friendships and musicianship grow together at Ethno and I thoroughly enjoyed my short visit to Riccal. Compliments to the chefs for the BBQ.
What date do I need in to mark in my 2006 diary?
I saw the brief TV coverage on Look North... I wish the BBC would spend 30 more seconds on a worthwhile REAL LIFE event instead of racing on to some unnecessary story with a 'celebrity' time waster! Grr.
Anyway, Congratulations on another successfully organised Ethno. Regards,
Hazel.
