This bombing is one in a long series of events perpetrated by the Islamic fundamentalist movement in Egypt. You know, the guys who killed Anwar Sadat because he made peace with Israel rather than continuing Nasser's pledge to "drive the Jews into the sea." The resort that was bombed was freely and openly patronized by Israelis and Egyptians, Jews and Moslems, not to mention many (Christian) Europeans. Such intermingling is an abomination to the Islamic fundamentalist movement. |
