I have seen MIDI for this song on DT but I'm looking for the lyrics to this lovely Irish waltz. Anybody know if there are some?

It's actually The South Wind - Irish and english words are in this thread and there's a version in the DT here

I can't get the file to play so I don't know if it's the same thing, but there are lyrics up here. If this is what you're looking for, that is. :)

Several past threads on this. It isn't really a waltz, though often played as one nowadays. Various words have been set to it; see, for instance, thread An Gaoth Andheas (sic) for what is supposedly the original.

For the midi of the Mudcat DT version, go to Numachi: Index
and look for Southwind under S.

It's on our recording of Archie Fisher, Frank. Folk-Legacy #CD-61 - The Man with a Rhyme.
