It's usually called Scotland Again; a modern song of the sentimental kind favoured by the "tartan and shortbread" crowd. Lyric from a recording by Valerie Dunbar (whose material is aimed squarely at the tourist trade) can be seen at http://www.scottravel.org/charlotte/home22.htm The song is mentioned in a lot of commercial listings online, but those I've seen credit only the recording artists, not the writer(s). |

Barry to a tune by A. Mason (of Fiddlers Rally fame) [and was] first released as a single by Gaberlunzie and now being recorded by many of Scotland's top artists, 'an anthem for Scotland'." I'm guessing H. Barry is Harry Barry who is mentioned elsewhere as drummer and record producer for Gaberlunzie. I can't find an A. Mason associated with Fiddler's Rally, but there are many references to conductor John Mason. |

It was originally a tune called The Wild Rose of the Mountain, and then words were added in collaboration with Harry Barry and became the song - Scotland Again. |
