30 Jul 05 - 04:46 PM (#1531708) Subject: BS: Congratulations Lady Penelope and Parker From: Liz the Squeak I'm pleased to announce to the world (and probably really annoy them) that Lady Penelope and her Parker have made it official. Yesterday morning, I was proud and honoured (if a little surprised) to act as witness to their marriage. They've actually been together for nearly 2 decades so it came as a great relief to several parents and other relatives. The bride looked wonderful in a tasteful dark green and black dress, with silver jewellery, the groom was equally splendid in a black and white ensemble. Congratulations Lady Penelope and Parker... and thank you for allowing me to share in your special day. LTS |

30 Jul 05 - 04:53 PM (#1531719) Subject: RE: BS: Congratulations Lady Penelope and Parker From: Liz the Squeak Lady Penelope is a Mudcatter, known in person to several people here. Parker is her 'silent' partner (he's not a Mudcat devotee, but a bloody good bloke for all that). I'm sorry, I should have made it clearer. And as for your question... presumably they try and get a pink People Carrier?! LTS |

I had them mixed up with that other lot who occasionally try to resurrect the 1920's. Ah, well, I have enough trouble keeping up with my own side of the darn pond!! Congrats to Lady P and her "silent partner"! A |

Parker and I have been together for 16 years and finally decided that we quite liked each other, so what the hey....? My father did express his dissaproval at "these long engagements" but was more than happy when we told him he didn't have to pay for the reception....... TTFN Lady P. |
