It brings to mind everybody's favorite party song. Actually, the Happy file includes two other songs with the identical opening words and having nothing to do with parties or Scottish villages. Nevertheless, today's offering is:
It is a song commemorating the first two men to cross the Atlantic by pure muscle power. Bryant wrote the song after reading about it in the "Old Farmer's Almanac", and then doing some extra research. [thanx DoN] They left New York 06 Jun 1896; landed in England 01 Aug 1896.
