On the 11th of August (Thursday )I am comming into Washington DC to make flowerpots at the US Botanic Garden and will be around town till sunday night the 14th so if anyone wants to get together and play let me know. .. I didnt know if I should put this in the music part or BS because it is looking to play music !! Ill bring a banjo or Guitar if I can !! Thanks Max for letting us use the site in this way. The pots will be used in the US Botanic Garden and for specimans of historical and heirloom plants .. Very cool.. I did play penny whistle every day walking from and to my hotel .It was fun thinking of what tunes would be apropriate in front of the Senate and the House . I played "the Americans " and "Jefferson & Liberty " but I wish I had thought of "Banish Misfortune ".(Two bomb scares in just the three days working) . I did play "Garry Owen" in front of the Civil War Monument . It must have been to hot for any Mudcatters to show up .Very smart but I'm sorry to have missed anyone from the area . I did meet lots of nice people from Langley Virginia .. No just kidding .. All the best to all here . Guy |
