Trouble is, all the best singers/musicians/acts/trade stalls tend to be where the money is ~ the bigger, expensive, well known festivals. LTS |

Doors open 7:45pm for an 8:15 kick off. It will be concert style and the artists appearing are :- Big Al Whittle http://www.bigalwhittle.co.uk Doug Eunson & Sarah Matthews http://www.cothrecords.co.uk/index.htm Flossie http://www.flossie-malavialle.co.uk/ Rhyzome http://www.rhyzome.co.uk/ Each artist will be doing a 40 minute floorspot. Entrance £5 Bring your own drink and food as there will not be a bar. No smoking I will be posting a thread soon for this event. pm me if anybody wants to reserve a seat, payable on the door. Or there may be other private campsites nearby, which would also work out cheaper but might have late night entry restrictions. Good luck! LTS |

Certainly some of those run by the C&CC have such restrictions. For instance this site near Oxford would be the closest for Towersey, but it's still a good 8-10 miles away and you have to arrange in advance if you arrive after 8pm. LTS |

Lots of other stuff there too, street entertainers, shanty singers and such. Depends what you call appropriate. |
