13 Aug 05 - 05:38 AM (#1541588) Subject: Music on RTE From: GUEST Anyone who cares to spend a bit of time looking around the RTÉ Radio 1 site at the moment will find a lot of things worth listening to. Apart from the regular programmes, 'Ceili House,' 'Mo Ceol Thu,' etc, there are some short series from this year and last year which have been archived. Ian Lee's 'Shamrock, Rose & Thistle,' is one, as is Colum Sand's 'Rootin' About.' Kevin Hanrahan's 'The Bloom of Youth' featuring young traditional musicians and singers is still going on and so is 'In Concert' which has performers as diverse as José Carreras and Liam Clancy. And for Bridie Gallagher fans, there is an interview with the lady herself, which includes some songs.RTÉ |
