For anyone living in South Central PA.

I'll be playing in the "Primal Brothers Jug Band" from 10am to 11am this saturday at the Red Lion Street Fair.

Red Lion PA is just outside of York PA and about 1/2 way between Harrisburg PA and Baltimore MD (an hour's drive from each).

Here is a clip from the press release:

This year marks the 125th anniversary of Red Lion borough, which traces its history back to the cigar industry of the early 1900's when one of every eight cigars in the world was hand-rolled there. Coincidentally, the history of the cigar box guitar also has roots in Red Lion since one of the art form's greatest proponents, and former Red Lion resident, gave his first cigar box guitar performance there, at the 1995 Red Lion street fair. By introducing the cigar box guitar tour to the annual street fair, event organizers hope to pay tribute to the town's unique history while tapping into a musical form of growing appeal. The move is also made in celebration of the borough's one-hundred and twenty-fifth year anniversary.

Performers engaged for the event include Doctor Oakroot, Gerry Thompson, one-man-band cigar box guitar punk-performer Johnny Lowebow. The stage will also showcase local cigar box guitar band Jug Fusion featuring Shane Speal and an ensemble organized expressly for the event under the name The Primal Bros All Star Jug Band, with Ray Nutter on washboard and Jim Bunch on washtub bass.
