Just dial 1-800 SOB-U SOB (sound it out), and then ask for your congress person by name or by state (or district, in the case of House representatives). It makes so much sense, it's a snap to remember! :-D |

One of the congressmen from Maryland was instrumental in helping us get our (JtS') permanent resident status resolved. I never thought I would have anything good to say about a politician, but we are very grateful, and I do like to give credit where credit is due. |

Yeah, mack, it does seem so appropriate (the good deeds of some of our Congressmen and Congresswomen notwithstanding) that it's hard to imagine the # just yielded that mnemonic by accident, isn't it? BTW, if you dial 1-877 instead of 1-800, you get the US Marine Recruiting office! |
