28 Aug 05 - 05:42 AM (#1551406) Subject: RE: Ted Edwards From: Mark Dowding Hi Lancashire Lad Just to clarify, this CD is not a repressing but is an old cassette recording I made of Ted at Wigan folk club in 1984 for personal use only. I sent Ted a copy of this earlier on in the year when I found it in a box with other tapes I'd made. Ted asked me if it would be possible to put it out on a CD as it was the only recording he knew of himself singing his own songs. The original recording was brightened up a bit and some of the hiss removed although this is still evident due to the nature of the recording. Much more removal resulted in odd effects due to removal of certain frequencies. I've done Ted 150 copies so far and he's still selling the buggers so someone must be buying them!
