05 Sep 05 - 06:30 PM (#1556968) Subject: RE: Black Bull Bender 2005 From: MoorleyMan Didn't make it this year due to other commitments, but it's usually a really good weekend. Friendly atmosphere, fine singing, welcoming hosts, decent beer etc etc.... Its only downside is that massive time-gap (4 hours) between afternoon and evening sessions - OK, so it gives you enough time to (a) queue for the chip van or (b) drive the long and slow miles down into Whitby, find somewhere to park if you're lucky and get something to eat, eventually, or (c) doze off ----- but dontcha just hate wasting good singing time? |
