Once insipid, always insipid! The insipid can never be made vital, provocative or spirited. They are doomed to forever remain bland, dull, boring and indifferent. Let's just get rid of 'em! Put 'em all on trains and send 'em someplace where their insipidity can do no harm. Yes! Send 'em all to Disney theme parks! |

It is going through a phase I saw when I lived in Japan where Hello Bloody Kitty is de rigeur for girls from 12-25. And as for Chinese pop music it is saccharine sweet and the boy-girl band phenomena has hit the music scene (such as it is) here in a big way. Even the rock bands are pretty insipid as they cannot use lyrics that might inflame social tensions or refer to the poorer side of China's glorious leadership. At least the Sichuan and Hunnan food is defeinately not insipid. |

She had the insipid car with her! That's okay, John. Susan had a Dodge Spirit until about a year ago. It was horribly insipid. But when it ceased running it also ceased being insipid. It became junk. And junk has a very low Insipidity Quotient. Don't ask why. It's one of life's great mysteries. |
