Got this incredible vinyl album yesterday from my girlfriend : Bob Theil - Playing it all for laughs.
Thought it'd be something weird, because of the album's strange cover, but I LOVE it !!! Been playing it all day today. There's this track on it called 'Legacy' which really blew my mind. I'd love to recommend this to everyone who's really into folkrock, but I don't know where you could find one. Need to check out the man's name on yahoo tomorrow, to see if he's got more albums out...

Yeah, Bob Theil, great songwriter. I don't know this album 'Playing it all for laughs' but I've read some good reviews about his debut album called 'So Far'... Apparently, Bob Theil disappeared after his debut release, but then turned out to be busking somewhere in Belgium, having recorded some more albums which are still unreleased today. I'd love to check out this 'Playing it all for laughs' album. You really seem to like this, so could you possibly put it on tape or something ?
