Car Crash clarification

Just to save myself telling the story over and over in Mudchat , I wrote my car off last Monday as a result of a front wheel puncture on the A1 at nearly seventy miles an hour ! The car did a 180 degree spin and hurtled backwards into the ditch alongside a Lay-By Cafe that was (of course) closed , so i couldnt even get a coffee while I waited for recovery ! All I suffered was a bit of bruising to my hands
due to gripping the wheel too hard , but my poor little Honda is a write off !
as someone in chat said ,"The Goddess likes musicians" -Max , CH , Em and several others in the last few months all more or less got away with it ! Lets keep it up !!

If the Goddess likes us so much, why does she keep crashing our vehicles, Terry? Glad you're okay, though!! :D Welcome back from your close call!

Yes Lead - I've spoken with some of your previous passengers - they could have told you!

I now imagine God as a commentator at the World Darts Championship, looking down on Leadfingers spinning round on the A1 and saying in an excited tone "180!!"

Good heavens, man! You'll have to clean your upholstery before the knackers haul the car away!

But I'm glad you're okay.

Sorry about the honda & the lack of coffee, but thankful that your "leadfingers" are intact & functioning.

Is the banjo still in the back?

Glad to hear you are OK too. The number of miles a musician has to drive, often when tired, is probably the most dangerous part of the job. Glad your luck is holding.
