9/11/01: bin Laden's al-Qaeda terrorists fly jet planes into
the Pentagon (189 died),
the Pennsylvania earth (44 died)
the NYC World Trade Towers (2,801 died; there were only 5 survivors unearthed)

The fires were finally out on 12/10/01.

          So now I go to funerals for men I never knew;
          The pipers play "Amazing Grace", as the coffins come in view.
          They must have seen it coming as they turned to face the fire.
          They sent us down to safety, then they kept on climbing higher.
