September Song Circle at SINSULL's

KarenK is visiting next weekend. I don't believe Jacqui will be up to walking the streets of Portsmouth. So SS at my house. I suspect it will be an intimate group. Quiet too - Linn and Tom stole my tambourine whale. But who's up for it?

I will be there, for sure, so long as the Cap'n will ferry me around.

Tom and I, of course, will NOT be there -- Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival Saturday and Sunday. We'll be in the middle of the Saturday night presentation at the Rockingham Hotel Ballroom (FREE) about "A Sailor's Life" (in song, of course).

Who knows, Sins, your poor little whale may come limping home. But not this weekend. If he shows up on our doorstep, we'll feed and water him.

Oh, then it really will be a quiet evening then, won't it? (ducking for cover)

You don't need to miss the festival. If you lot behave yourselves on Saturday night, get some reasonable sleep, you can get to Portsmouth by 1:00 on Sunday, enjoy the free music, and head home before 6:00. Hope to see you there - Tom

I won't be there, but I wanted to compliment SINS for the outstounding use of alliteration in the thread-title.

I sincerely hope the September Song Circle at SINSULL's is super.

Reminds me of a great line from "Medea" - in Greek, she hisses at Jason for three lines. HHHHHHHHSSSSSS! Great moments in Greek tragedy.

I hate to beg at the last minute, but will someone PM or contact me if they can give a ride? I live only a modest distance from SINSULL's, though a long walk.

We are the Walking Wounded. Jacqui is confined to the recliner. Kendall sprained his back working on the RV. And I fell walking the dog.

KarenK called and has car trouble SO...the SS is off.

Anyone who shows up will be fed and there is ample beer and wine. Tami come anyway and we'll eat. Sorry all.

Who are you calling a dog then?

There were three dogs and four people!

I fed the whale who spent most of the weekend swimming in the pool and swilling margaritas while convincing the cats to be landlubbers.

Did take the whale on an excursion to Portsmouth for the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival on the off chance that Sinsull might be able to make it. He did, indeed, put in an appearance in Commercial Alley outside the Den while Roll & Go were preparing to sing. (Harpoons were again mentioned -- and not by me!)

"There's a whale, there's a whale, there's a whalefish," he cried.
