I never attend church although I do believe strongly in God. God and Jesus are not one and the same to me. I am on the left of many political issues and on the right with others. However, that said, whatever it is that you refer to as the anti-Christ (I think you mean evil, corruption, badness) is indeed loose on Earth. I agree it will not go away all by itself. I do not know that religion alone will result in salvation. It may require political activism, revolt or revolution. Basically, is a just world worth getting killed for? Then we will all have to remember the words of the song, "Which side are you on?", and then we shall see what we see. I don't think the thing is a done deal, Peter. I do think these bastards can be overthrown. But step one is getting people to see that indeed 'something wicked this way comes'. You are going to take some flack for your beliefs, both in real life and on this thread. I want you to know early on 'which side I'm on'. |

I believe God has made us 'mini' creators and hence we have self-will, individual responsibility and ourselves bear some of the responsibility for creation. And the clock is ticking: "I have set before you this day life and good, death and evil" It is the height of danger to look for external salvation, because ultimately, we do not have the ability to determine which will be the 'christ' and 'anti' unless it comes from within. |
