Painted Boot Company - still going?

Anyone seen them lately or their successors?

I have two pairs (one slightly less red that the other) and they will not last forever - particularly dancing. A fellow dancer asked me this and I did not know. I haven't seen any like them for a year or two.

Doc Martens make a big range of coloured boots and shoes. Their Cherry Reds are quite famous.

Nah - leather uppers, welted - stitched through the welt to the inner sole and a rubber foam sole glued thereto. Several manufacturers in UK - used to be Glastonbury but Painted Boot Co last heard of in Southampton. Usually a stall at Folk Festivals here.
The enquirer will probably be at the Stroud Ceilidh tonight.
