Mate has bought an AKAI DPS12i digital recording studio. It is great but hasn't got a cd writer attached. Struggling to find out what I need to do to add one to it. Anyone got one who can advise us on this please? (No big words, please!) Ideally we would have a cd writer that could be stand alone from the computer so whole set-up is portable. Need to know about leads etc. Am desperate to transfer first efforts to cd so hope some kind soul can be bothered to help a non-technically minded amateur musician. Would be really appreciated, thanks. |

You just need a standard RCA interconnect between the DPS12's master output and the CR recorder's input. That's one of those common stereo cables with a red and white plug at each end. Better, if your CD recorder has an optical digital input (also called S/PDIF), you can get an optical cable and link the two digitally. Anahata |
