British Music Hall on film

Does anyone know of a comprehensive listing of performances by Music Hall performers appearing in films?
I recently watched the supplemental material on the DVD of "Broadway Melody" - Metro Movietone Revue No.4 contains a performance of 'The King's Navy' by ELLA SHIELDS.
And the film "Elstree Calling" contains 'Why Am I Always a Bridesmaid', and 'He's Only a Working Man' performed by LILY MORRIS.
There must be many others.....

Thanks Len, looks like exactly what I need.

In another thread I mentioned a Stanley Holloway film- copy to
this thread:

Recently saw the 1935 film PLAY UP THE BAND. 2 wonderful turns:
The Ghost of Hampton Court Muze
   Sweeney Todd.

This film is available on DVD in Vol.7 of THE EALING STUDIOS RARITIES COLLECTION issued in the UK by NETWORK. These discs are REGION 2,
and do NOT have subtitles.

Cheers, Thomas.

The BBC also had a Music Hall series called 'Turns' presented by the inimitable Jimmy Perry. Sadly the series is not online.

I had the opportunity to look through GIFFORD Entertainers in British
Film. It seems to be somewhat incomplete in that some films listings
do not show the performances (I assume this must be that the films were
not available to watch or documentation lacked the information).
Seems like an update to the book would be desirable.
The entry for PLAY UP THE BAND lists 2 songs PLAY UP THE BAND and
MUSIC HATH CHARMS. He totally misses the two items I find of most
interest in the film-the classic Stanley Holloway items I list.
. No list of performances in Wiki or IMDB, but
IMDB does have a note about THE GHOST OF HAMPTON COURT MAZE (maze
not muse my error). The Hampton Court Palace is a very interesting
historic site, and the maze is fun. They have a website....
Many music hall performances are available on YouTube.

Thomas.
