She will never outgrow that condition. It worked for me. My 3 always permitted me to hug them, even in early 'teens in public. I tried to limit it, remembering how uncool it was....They appreciate it now, as adults with their own kids. And I get their hugs and my grandkids hugs. Enormous payoff. Heaven on earth.
