He was in my opinion a major force in the development of folk music in Ireland, but never had any interest in the commercial side of it so got bypassed by people with less talent and taste. |

From: Dave Sutherland Yes, as mentioned last wek Johnny will be playing at Traditions At The Tiger, Tiger Inn, Long Eaton, Notts on Sunday 16th October 7.30 start. As of Friday this is the only U.K.gig that I am aware he is doing. |
