My parents have 2 Wharfedale XP2 speakers and a Garrard DD455 turntable that they are getting rid of - if anyone would like them please PM me - you will need to be able to collect them from Worcester UK.

Many Wharfedale speakers had foam 'surround' material. Each of these individual 'drivers' must be repaired or 're-coned' if the system is to sound right. Also, some Wharfedales had fragile 'tweeters' which are likely to fail. The XP2s should be taken to an authorized re-coner and checked out.

"Look for the boulders on the skyline, they are known as 'erratics' ".

Maybe that does relate to Mudcat.

Worcester eh - do they frequent the Somers TFC? Fri nights in the Albion, Bath Rd. or other local sessions/FC folkie collectors might think of collecting on a Friday.

OK pdq - your knowledge of speakers is clearly greater than mine - the kit belongs to my father, who is a folkie of sorts but doesn't get to clubs much. If anyone is seriously interested in this kit (otherwise it will just be junked) PM me as Cllr & I might be able to find routes to get it to you.
