11 Oct 05 - 03:55 PM (#1581215) Subject: RE: BS: Time to trade your car From: Bee-dubya-ell Well, I'm not trading my van because I can't run my business (selling pottery at weekend art/craft shows) without it. But, a lot of the shows I do are about a two-hour drive from home and I'm finding myself much more prone toward springing for a motel room on Saturday night instead of driving home and going back again on Sunday morning. It's reached the point where a 300 mile round trip costs as much as a night at a motel. |

I almost asked what a 1936 Henway was, but I searched Google first and figured it was some figment or strange axe.**bg** HeyaLouiedarlin'...if it runs and it's paid for who cares how much the gas is? Americans need to pay their way...we use something like 90% of the world's oil, but have never paid our share at the gas pump. I know it gets tough on the budget, but it may also prompt more efficiency from car owners and makers alike. luvyakat |
